Online Games and Activities for Year 6
Links to lots of interactive games to practise skills. Select the area of English that you want to practise at the top first. Grammar and spelling ones are good. (Some require Flash).
Lots of grammar terms. Info to read, reminders about what they are then games and quizzes about each one.
7 fun interactive grammar games.
Quite a few helpful revision guides. Read information to find out about an aspect of grammar then do an activity at the bottom. Note: you do not need to do them all – check your colourful reference sheet for which words you need to know.
A mixture of English activities. The Zoogleburst quiz is fun and there are several which help you to write/make interactive stories, newspapers and more. When you click on the game, check the bottom left of the window when it opens to see whether it is appropriate for year 6s as some are for younger children.

Quite fun games where you have to answer quickly in order to move your character forwards. Try the swimming game or the pole one!
