Welcome

Welcome to Enderby Danemill Primary School

First of all, thank you for visiting our website. We hope that you will find our online presence useful in giving you information about the school 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Enderby Danemill Primary School will normally be the first experience that your child will have of a school. We are keen to ensure that this is a positive experience and we encourage a love of learning from the start. At Danemill we believe that a happy child is a child who will learn. We provide a positive learning environment, excellent support and above all fun.

As well as ensuring that each child follows the National Curriculum, we provide a rich and varied range of extra activities for all ages.

The village of Enderby was originally a Danish Settlement, hence the name of the school, Enderby Danemill Primary School. The school occupies two sites. Townsend Road was the original Enderby school and was built in 1906, it currently houses Key Stage 1 and The Foundation Stage. After completing Key Stage 1 the children transfer to the Key Stage 2 Department in Mill Lane which was built in 1965. Throughout the school we have excellent facilities which include extensive outdoor space, three computer suites, allotment gardens and a swimming pool.

Once again .... welcome to our site.
